What You Can Expect

Social media moves fast, and that's exactly what I enjoy about it. Every platform has its own audience, formats and way of telling stories, which means every animation needs to be designed with a clear purpose.
I enjoy finding the balance between creating something that feels native to the platform while staying true to the brand. Whether it's organic content or a paid campaign, I like thinking beyond a single animation and making sure every version feels like part of the same visual language. My years in agency environments have also taught me to work quickly, collaborate closely with creative teams and adapt without compromising on quality.
This compilation brings together a range of social-first work across different brands, formats and techniques, including multiple tailored variations created to perform across different platforms and audiences.

Every story deserves its own way of being told. That's why every explainer starts with understanding the message, the audience and what needs to stick. From there, the visual approach naturally follows, whether that means creating a style from scratch or building on an existing brand identity.
From style and storyboard development to the final animation, I focus on clear storytelling and good pacing. This helps ensure the message comes across within the attention span of your target audience.
This compilation brings together projects created with both original artwork and client-provided assets, with all animation designed and animated by me.

The strongest brands don't just look consistent, they move consistently too. That's why I enjoy getting involved early, helping shape how motion supports the campaign, the message and the overall brand experience.
Beyond individual animations, I like thinking in systems. Creating motion that stays recognisable across channels while remaining flexible enough to scale, adapt and evolve over time. Whether it's developing motion guidelines, templates or reusable assets, the goal is always the same: making motion a natural part of the brand rather than an afterthought.
Close collaboration with designers, marketers and creative teams is an important part of that process. Clear communication, practical thinking and a shared creative vision help turn strategy into motion that not only looks good, but also supports the brand long after a campaign has launched.
This compilation features work created across campaigns, brand systems and motion toolkits, combining original designs with existing brand assets.

Roche Xproject
Client
Roche, in collaboration with Hello Monday and produced by Mehdi Assem.
The Challenge
Roche XProject: Closing the Gap in Women's Healthcare was built around the voices of more than 600 women sharing personal experiences of misdiagnosis, misinformation and unequal access to care. The challenge was to translate these sensitive stories into a clear and engaging animation campaign that could raise awareness while remaining accessible across different digital platforms.
My Role
I created the 2D animations and helped develop a flexible motion design system that stayed true to Roche's visual identity while supporting a wide range of campaign assets. A key part of the project was designing interchangeable scene transitions and reusable motion principles, making it easy to adapt the content into multiple cutdowns, aspect ratios and social formats without losing consistency.
Alpro in Motion
Client
Alpro, in collaboration with Dorst & Lesser.
The Challenge
The goal was to create a fresh and playful brand motion system that supports Alpro's message that plant-based is for everyone. The challenge was to develop a recognisable, scalable motion design system that could be used across social media, digital campaigns and global brand communications, combining creativity with a clear and authentic visual identity.
My Role
I was involved helping shaping Alpro’s motion design system, working on both the previous and current brand animations. I developed the outro animations and helped define how lines, colours, ingredients, and typography move on screen. The result is a flexible motion toolkit that is now used worldwide and can easily be adapted for different formats and campaigns. I continue to support the team whenever needed.
With this playful and appetising motion style, plant-based drinks became even more inviting for a broad audience.
Kruidvat
Client
Kruidvat, in collab with Eigen Fabrikaat, part of DDB Amsterdam
The Challenge
If you watch Dutch or Belgian television, you’ve probably seen Kruidvat’s recurring product commercials. EF, Later DDB Retail, needed a way to produce these weekly TVCs effectively and consistently. The 3D elements (animated by the 3D designer Sarah Cohen) were locked for editing in C4D, but the on-screen text and product details needed to stay editable in After effects, while staying as fluid as the KV balls themselves. The Adobe AE file had to be easily accessible and usable for junior motion designers and external freelancers, using only native After Effect tools to keep the project light enough for a weekly turnaround. Mind you, these were the early days (2022) before some of the convenient tools we’d use today even existed.
My Role
I built the motion design template that made this workable: a clearly structured After Effects setup where copy and product callouts could be updated quickly, without extra briefing. Years later, after both the original studio and successor agency have come and gone, the same system is still in weekly use, carried through a full agency handover, proof the template holds up and is genuinely easy for any After Effects user to pick up!
