Hi! I’m Kabo Lam, a freelance motion designer with over 15 years of experience in the animation & advertising industry. I combine strong visual storytelling with a clear, structured approach. I speak Dutch and English.
My experience spans both independent and commercial projects, giving me a strong understanding of different media styles and the advertising industry. Whether I work independently or as part of a team, I focus on clarity, quality, and momentum.
I enjoy challenging myself with the technical side of social campaigns as well as story-driven explainer animations, especially when I can fully lean into character animation or work with Essential Graphics.
When I’m not animating, you’ll probably find me gaming, reading a good book, or relaxing on the couch with my partner and our very large orange cat.

Ctrl A is a meetup event for freelancers in the creative industry, co-organised by Eelco Viel and I. It brings together like-minded digital creatives through guest talks and informal drinks, creating space for connection, conversation, and networking.
The mission of Ctrl A is to provide an accessible and safe platform where creatives can meet and discuss relevant topics within the industry. The goal is to help people find each other, feel comfortable reaching out, and support one another.
